With my engineering background, animating conceived products has always been a specialty in my animation work. This one, for PR Product Research, demonstrates a tidal power renewable power source, Bouyant Blade Free Stream Tidal Power.
This fastener feed system is for delivering a variety of fasteners to large riveting machines, typically used in aerospace manufacturing. My previous experience at Electroimpact involved design of the intricate mechanisms involved in fastener orientation and selection.
This animation was from my work as an independent 3D modeler/animator, where my jobs ranged from engineering animations to videogames. This was right in the middle. The data used to create the path of the car in this animation was taken from a forensic crash simulation program.
