Staubli RX-60 Clamp & Screw System

This cell was the first actual assembly I performed with the RX-60.  This the jaw design was unique because it used two different sides of the gripper for grabbing different parts.  The rotation needed to perform this got interesting with the screwdriver attached. Attaching the driver to the robot's wrist, freed up the fingers for gripping.


Sony SRX-611 Ultrasonic Welding Cell

This robotic assembly cell incorporated a Sony SRX-611 robot and a Dukane Ultrasonic Welder to pre-test, assemble, weld, and post-test this sensor.

Adept Laser Robots

10/2/2011 Update:  Laser firing video added below.

This work cell includes 3 Adept robots.  The middle one for positioning, and the 2 side ones for lasers.  I just figured out getting the 3 robots attached and working independently from the same controller.

Sony SRX-611 Pad Printing Bot

Complete Overkill

I needed to do pad printing.  I had a manual printer and a robot not being used, so I made this pad printer.  This is probably the lamest application of a robot, but it does the job well.
